Covid19 - After a thorough analysis of British Cycling’s latest document on the return to racing, and having considered all of the implications on organisers, volunteers, officials and riders, the decision has been made that there will be no Cyclo-Cross races promoted with the support of the LCCA in Lincolnshire before Christmas 2020.

Although the latest guidance has outlined how racing could go ahead, the small number of individuals who volunteer and contribute to the successful organisation of the Lincolnshire Cyclo-Cross season every week feel that they will be unable to plan and deliver a quality race day with the level of support required at this moment in time.

We know that there will be a lot of disappointment in reading this announcement, however the health and well-being of all individuals who contribute to the Lincolnshire Cyclo-Cross season, from competitors to volunteers, is our priority at this moment in time.

We remain hopeful that, should the restrictions be eased further, we would be able to promote some racing in the new year. We will be closely monitoring the situation, and waiting for any further developments and changes in the advice on promoting races from British Cycling. We aim to review the situation again in November.
